Q. How do I defeat those Ailens at the Ragnarok
A. Well, this is quite simple. You will not encounter any random
battles here. Firstly you must defeat those ailens with the same
colour first. Let's says if you have defeated the Purple Ailen in
the main compound, you must then fight the Purple Ailen at the other
side [refer to map]. If you did not, they will regenrate and you
will fight them all over and again. Certain Draw Points will appear
after you have defeated them. There are 4 kinds of aliens and they
are different in colours and there are two of the same kind.

After defeating all aliens, head for the elevator where you found the
green monster and you will have an event. Squall taking control of the
seat and there you will hear the song ... very mushy stuff. Here is the

After that wonderful and romantic song, you will be now controlling
Ragnarok and will be landed on the sandy area. There you will meet the
people of Esthar including Professor Odain's assistant. Next Rinoa will
leave [she has been accused of being a witch]. Head back to Ragnarok
and enter the meeting room [the place where you find the controls,
marked "C"] There you will find Irvine, and the rest except for Edea
and Rinoa. After some conversation, you find Selphie and Irvine moving
out. Once you approaches Quistis, the ground will started to shake,
because Ragnarok has landed off from the ground! Now head for the
controls room and you will find Selphie as the pilot! Now you will be
back at the World Map. Here are the controls of Ragnarok. BTW, there is
a Draw Point [Life] at the junction where you find the stairs that led
to the main hall of Ragnarok.

Well, do you know that it's high time for capturing the remainding
G.Fs. But before you could head for these places, first you can find
hidden Draw Points at the following places:
1. Back of Dollet Radio Tower [Curse]
2. Train Tunnel located in front of Galbadia City. [Esuna]
3. Train Tunnel located near Timber Town [Fire 2]
4. Train Tunnel located near Balamb Town. [Esuna]
5. Northen Tip of Long Horn Island [Aura]
Note you can head to F.H. and position Ragnarok vertically on the top
with the shadow covering the city and you will find Ragnarok landed
near the F.H's Windmill. You can enter a new place called Esthar
Airport and that are a piece of bad news, that is you will encounter
very powerful beasts at Esthar City Area..a bunch of creepy ones.
Also you want fast AP level Up, head for the Cactuar Island marked
on the southeast corner of the World Map, you find a green Cactuar,
that's the Sabotander! But there are some great news, you will
encounter Cactuars which may give you a single digit EXP, but they
give 20 AP! But note that you have low hit rate and they will ran
away, thus giving you nothing.
For those whom have missed the opportunity of viewing the Timber
Magazines that you have collected, here is a chance! You can find
Balamb Garden being docked at F.H. Just simply landed your Ragnarok and
head for Balamb Garden.
Now finished up drawing up magic spells as it's high time for you to
level up, make sure to fight more monsters and gain more G.F's
abilities such as Alexandar's Sosei and Leviathan's Recovery as you are
going to fight the most toughest guys in Disc 3. It's also high time to
level up. There are four places where you can find the remaining G.Fs.
It would be better to get everyone's most powerful weapon [refer to
Part II to get the materials]

Head back to place where you get the Odin. Next head for the compound
where the stairs and the atrium. Find a hidden Draw Point in front of
fallen pillar on the right [Life]. Now walk around there and wait
there for battles against Tonberi. Stay there and do not walk up the
stairs!

|This section is rather tough. Get as many Tents and |
|Pet Houses as you can. After about three Tonberi |
|fights, head back to the World Map and use the Tent |
|and Pet House to recover lost HP. Try to keep your | BATTLE TIP

Quite tough as it's more fast moving compared to ordinary Tonberi. It
has very damaging attacks. The Earthquake Stomp will cause all allies
to be effected in the process. The BOSS also has other quite damaging
moves about 1000+ HP damage to one character. Use special moves and
high damaging spells such as Ultima and use it on the BOSS. Use G.F
Cerebrus on your party and you will be able to cast three spells in
a row. Note that this battle is continous from the 20th Tonberi fight
that's why you will gain an extra 1 AP ^_^. There is also another way
to get great spells such as Aura/Meteor/Flare, refer to Part II cheats
section. Make sure that you have acquired Double Consumption so that
you can cast Aura twice for the price of one.

Well, you have finished the Sentora Ruins, time to head somewhere else.
2. Sabotander Island: Sabotander.

Identify The Sabontander Island....
It is somewhere in south-east area on the World Map, located in
Sentora Regions. The place has seem to have a green cactuar icon,
moving about [that's is the Sabotander!]. Make contact with it, by
walking approaching it but not using Ragnarok! It is a HUGE one, not
those tiny cactuars!

The Sabotander is very tough [not as tough as the Ultimate and Omega
Weapons]. Make sure you have accquired the Levitahan with the G.F. Aid
and the Recovery. The BOSS is weak against it. Next make sure everyone
has Life-restoring items or Life magic. Make sure you have accquired
Regen. Next summon Cerebrus and cast Regen on your entire party [this
makes Regen-All, similar to FF7]. Just keep on summon Leviathan and
other G.Fs. Cast Barrier to reduce the BOSS damage. If one of your
member dies, cast Life and with the Recovery skill and now your
character is back to full health! Demi does not worked quite well on
the BOSS. If you have any other strategies, please contact me. Cast
Merton to reduce the defensive stats of the BOSS as Squall could do
9999 HP with the strength stats of 171! Quistis's Micro Missile does
not work quite well on the Sabotander.
It would better if you have Life 2 and attained higher levels. It will
also be nice if you have accquired the Alexandar's Sosei. There is
another easy way, that is to get Squall's Lionheart! [I have finished
this cookie with End of Heart with Squall at Level 100!]

3. WarShip Island: Getting G.F. Bahamut

Identify WarShip Island...
So head for the southwest area of the World Map. It's a huge labortary
in the middle of the blue sea. It is just the west from Edea's House.
This also known as the Galbadian Underwater Research Facility. To get
there, try to fly low (should see water splashing..).

So as you enter the laboratory, you find your members talking to each
other at the entrance of the left, pick any options during the
conversation. Next you will enter the laboratory. The lab has been
powered a light secruity system. The moment you move in the
laboratary when the "light" is on, you will fight monsters such as
HedgeVipers.
The moment the lights went off, move until you have the chance to
examine the light source. Pick first option for the first question
and you fight a Rubulmdragon [remember the dragon where Laguna has
fight as an acting knight?]. Pick the second option for the second
question and you will fight another Rubulmdragon.
CHANGES IN ATTACKS AND DRAW SPELLS

ALTERNATE METHOD
There is also another alternate method, but it will decrease the
amount of EXP that you will gain from the BOSS. Just use Tonberi's
Level Down and you see that the level of Rubulmdragon has decrease
into Level 10~15! This is contributed by Ciovo.
After defeating the two of these, pick the third option [hidden] for
the last question, and you fight the Bahamut.

Here is a brand new strategy against the Bahamut. Summon G.F Cerebrus
and cast Regen on all your characters. Cast Merton on the BOSS to
reduce the BOSS' high defensive stats. This battle is quite tough, but
you can make speed as a killer weapon. Summoning G.Fs can be a great
idea but don't bother to summon G.F Queztalcoatl and Pandemonium.
Make sure that your characters have acquired their ultimate weapons
so that you will have no problem in defeating the BOSS. The BOSS has
a killer attack Tetra Flame that does about 3,000+ to all characters,
so take note of that. Summon Grasharaboras may does a small amount of
damage, but it's negative status that makes the G.F a valuable one.
If your characters are wounded, draw Cure 3 to heal lost HP and Raise
to restore dead characters. Dish out damage with your character's
special move will be much favourable compared to summoning G.Fs.
ALTERNATE METHOD contributed by Crystal Power [Recommended]
Have Irvine in your party and has 100 ammunation of the most powerful
bullets. Cast Aura on both Squall and Irvine and have them use their
special moves [have their ultimate weapons and junction magic to
their strength to 255]. If you are lucky enough, you will see Squall
using his "End of Heart" to finish the Bahamut in ONE turn.

After defeating the Bahamut, you will recieved the card and the place
will be in a mess. Return back to Ragnarok, by walking up back to it.
4. Warship Island: Defeating the Ultimate Weapon

NOTE: It's seems to me that Zell is a compulsory character for this
section.

|This section is very tough as you need to battle |
|against a whole list of tough cookies. The best |
|method of defeating them is by using Selphie's |
|Leviator or Quistis' Detonator. Try to keep any of | BATTLE TIP
|this characters at the critcial status. Make sure | # 18
|that your party is fully healed before you fight |
|the Weapon. Get tons of Tents and X-Potions before |
|heading down the basement. it's tough and a bit |
|difficult. |

I have quite a lot of trouble in this, thanks to Steven Bruck whom has
told me the way to get to fight the Ultimate Weapon! Thanks a lot! I'm
really apprectiate it. Without him, I was unable to get the last G.F.
After defeating the Bahamut, head back to the Ragnarok. Press Triangle
while on the World Map and talk to your pals. Next re-enter the
Warship Island. Now you will find a Save Point outside the damaged
light system. Proceed and climb down. There you will find a Draw Point
[Despell] and you will disperse, examining the underground research
facility. Next head for the steam machine and you will have a guide of
operating the machine. Your aim is to reach the basement of the
laboratory with steam pressure with the 10x gas blocks.

Magic Stones and Save Point locations
1. Save Point can be found when you exit from the huge steam machine,
it's on the left.
2. As you reach the next area, you will find another Draw Point
by the stairs. [Triple]
3. At the winding path, you will find a Draw Point hidden under a
blue glowing rock. [Ultima]
4. If you have equipped G.F Siren's Discover Hidden Points, you will
find another Save Point next to the steam machine found at the
underground basement.

1st Area: Fighting the Torai Feisu
------------------------------------------------------------------------
Probably the easiest among all the fight in this area. If you have
problems in this area, I would suggest that you better retreated. Try
to steal [using Bundoru] to get 100x Charm Claws which can be converted
into Dark Matter and allows Quistis to learn the Shockwave Phaser. Just
keep on hitting the monsters with your attack. You will get Poison
Powder if you defeat the monster. [improves your affection with G.F
Grasharaboras. Junction Fire 3 to your characters attributes attack to
inflicit more damage.

2nd Area: Geren Deru and Garukimaseru
------------------------------------------------------------------------
The Garukimaseru is rather tough as it could cast several elementals in
a row. However it has very low defense. It could cast damaging spells
such as Flare and Holy. Just simply junctioned Silent to your
characters' status defense.
The Geren Deru is weak against Earth/Wind/Holy-based attacks. So use
this to your advantage. Also junction Bolt 3 to the characters'
attributes attack. If you have sufficient Holy spells, junctioned it to
the character's attributes attack as the Garukimaseru is also weak
against it too.

3rd Area: Behemoth
------------------------------------------------------------------------
A tough cookie but -very- weak against status elementals such as Poison
and Sleepel. Seize the opporunity to get Barrier System if Quistis does
not have Mighty Guard. Here is the method:
<> Junction 100x Sleepel to Squall's status attack, junction Ultima to
booast it up to 255.
<> Junction 100x Sleepel to the second character's status attack [
second highest attacking power.]
<> Equip G.F Diablo and Bahamut for the third character [these G.Fs
does 9999 HP to all monsters whose maximum HP exceed 9999!]
________________________________________________________________________
4th Area: Rubulmdragon
------------------------------------------------------------------------
The most dangerous monster in all areas. There are only a few methods,
just junctioned 100x Ice 3 to the characters' attributes attack.
Junction Fire 3 to all characters' attributes defense. [this will turn
that pesky Dragon Breath into a mere bug bite] Try to keep Squall
within critical status and you will be able to enjoy "End of Heart".
Cast Merton to lower the defense stats of the Rubulmdragons.

5th Area: 2x Iron Giants
------------------------------------------------------------------------
It seems impossible to defeat them, but you are wrong. Just apply the
above method and junction Bolt 3 to every characters' attributes
attack. While the Iron Giants are in the Sleepel status, you will no
worries while summoning G.Fs [Bahamut, Quetzalcoatl, Diablo]. Seize
the opporunity to nab items such as Fang Machine Gun and Fragment of
the Star.

Now the door will open and enter the door. Next head down to the
basement. Note that you will encounter monsters for every 2 steps [
Encounter 50% less, ~ 4 steps , Encounter Nothing ~ 8 steps] and will
encounter very strong formidible foes such as the Iron Giants and the
monsters that you have found near the barrier that surrounds the
Esthar City... plus the Rubulmdragon that you have fought in the
previous three battles, so it is better if you have attained high
levels. Once you have reached the basement, you will find a machine,
examine the machine and pick the 1st option and you will fight the
Ultimate Weapon!

He's one of the most toughest BOSS in FF8. It has very destructive
spells and high attacking power. It has very damaging spells that could
effect all members, such as Shadow Flare [3,000+ per member], Quake
[1,000+ per member] and Meteor [2,000+ per member.]. By the way, you
WILL get 100x Ultima Stones from the fight! It has also a instant
killer weapon [Ultima Beam] that does 9999 damage to a single character.
Note that the Ultimate Weapon has accquired the Ultima Weapon [Cloud's
FF7's Final Weapon!] How to defeat it? Here is a strategy that I have
come up with, it may not works.
Firstly, draw Regen from the BOSS. Summon G.F. Cerebrus and you will be
able to cast Regen thrice. Next cast Ultima [3x] on the BOSS and it
should 9999 HP damage each time. Or if you have Aura, cast it on member
and keep on switching turns until you see an arrow on the right and you
will be able to use the character's special move! If you have Barrier
and Shield, cast it on your party as it serves quite well for defensive
purposes. Make sure that you remember to draw Eden from the BOSS before
it's death or it will be lost forever! It's possible to defeat the BOSS
at low levels, provide that you junction magic to the character's HP. I
have used "End of Heart" to sent a ticket to the Planet Doom for the
Ultimate Weapon!

NEWS: It will be better if you have accquired the Mighty Guard,
stealing Behemoths outside the barriers. This was sent by
Heero Yuy. Use on Quistis and have her casting the Mighty Guard.

Well, you have finished the BOSS, it's time to head back to the story.
You need to head for the Witch Museum and rescue Rinoa. The Witch
Musemum is found somewhere in the south-east region, near Tear's Point
and has a Y-shape structure. If you are unsure about this, use the
Ragnarok's Auto Pilot.

After done with all the tour, head for the Witch's Museum. Now enter
the Museum. Next head up the stairs and there is a Draw Point [Stop] in
this area. Talk to the Esthar Soldiers at the gate and they will allow
you to enter the musemum. Next you find Rinoa, being trapped inside a
chamber and the scientist are testing her whether is she a witch or
not. Next your members will try to stop them and thus giving Squall a
chance to stop them. Next head left and approached the captured Rinoa
you will have an FMV:

Rinoa is finally being released by her lover, Squall and they will hug
each other and thus leaving the Museum. [isn't this similar to FMV in
the beginning of the game, just as there is some difference in the
background.]
Now with Rinoa back in your hands, head to the entrance and you will
be allowed to leave, next your party will be asked by Rinoa to head to
Edea's house. You will find Angelo in front of the house. Next enter
Edea's house and look for Edea, after talking to both of them, exit.
Now exit and you will find Angelo and follow it, next your party
members will leave and Rinoa comes in. Meanwhile, Zell will report to
you that Esthar has been underattack and the President of Esthar want
to see you. Next exit and you find Edea talking to Squall. Head for
Esthar Captial where you will meet the President. By the way, the
President of Esthar has defeated the Witch [the sealed monster], 13
years ago. Now head to the captial city. Now enter the city through the
Air Station and keep on walking Up and head for the main compound. Next
enter the elevator marked on the map. Now head for the mansion, and go
to the screen left twice and you find 2 Esthar Soldiers at the gate and
talk to them and you will be allowed to meet the President. [Not
necessary.. just charge!]
As Squall enter the room, he found Ward... and Kiros... Just walked
forward and you found out that the President is actually Laguna Loire.
Can't believe the way, that a President of a such huge city will
dressed in such a simple manner. Next talk to Laguna, pick the 1st
option and here come Professor Odain! Talk for quite a long time and
here is the scoop:
Elone has been held captive at the Pandora. Laguna wishes that Squall
could lend a hand and helped him to save Elone, to prevent Time
Compression from occuring. And must tried to prevent Altemisia from
being reborn, she is that huge thing which Rinoa has unlocked. Next you
be asked to launch an attack on the Lunatic Pandora.

SPOILERS [In-depth story] from
The name of that witch [the sealed monster which Rinoa has released it
from the space chamber] is actually Adel [Aderu]. That witch is
actually the former leader of Esthar. It was Laguna, who has defeated
it and sent it to outerspace.

Yes there is one which covers more about the past section. It was
about the section after Laguna has rescued Elone from the evil hands
of Esthar [which was controlled by the evil Aderu]. Just simply pick
the fourth option while talking to Laguna and you see an FMV which
tells about the origin of Ragnarok. Actually, there are three of them..
It also explains how Laguna has defeated Aderu!

you can play a card game with Laguna while at the Ragnarok which nabs
Squall's Card. There is a Draw Point [Raise 2] found at the alley way
where you find the Save Point inside the Ragnarok.

started charge through breaking the force-field. Next it will grab
onto the walls with it's claws.
Talk to Selphie if you want to head back. Now enter the place...through
back haul, marked by the EXIT on the map of the Ragnarok. You will meet
Seifer's pals, Raijin and Fuujin and prepare for a BOSS fight.

Both Raijin and Fuujin are much stronger compared to the previous
fight. They have new spells and much powerful. Don't draw and release
Tornado as Fuujin will be healed in the process. Concentrate on
attacking Fuujin as she has some very difficult spells. Make sure your
HP are above 3000+ as Fuujin could cast Meteor. Use G.F. Grasharaboras
as they are weak against Poison. Cast Cerebrus and followed by Shield
all [reduce magical damage] and Barrier-all [reduce physical damage]
Do not use G.Fs Queztalcoatl and Pandamonium. Use Leviathan's Recovery
to restore lost health and use your special moves. Their HP does not
changed even Squall is at Level 100! There is an easy method. Junction
100x Sleepel to one character's status attack and have that character
attack both Raijin and Fuujin. Have the others summoning G.Fs. In this
way, there is no damage for your G.Fs to withstand. It will be better
if you have another character junction 100x Curse to his/her status
attack.

After defeating those two funkies, exit from this area. Head up and
make a left turn, there you will meet Biggs and Wedge, talking to
them. Don't worry there are no battles, as they are sick of fighting
you. Now enter the building [there is a Save Point somewhere near the
building]. Next you will be on the path which leads to the second
elevator. Next head for the 02 elevator. Draw some magic and you have
been here. Next head up. If you have accquired the Discover Hidden
Points ability, you will find a Save Point there. Head up and you will
find Fuujin and Raijin. They will not fight you, instead they summon
a robot ailen to attack your party!

This BOSS can be said to be most difficult guy in Disc 3 while at the
Pandora. It has a couple of death seeking attacks. The Fallen shone
will reduce everyone's HP to 1 and it has other very tough looking
attacks. The BOSS can dish out a couple of damage. Use all attacking
G.Fs. Cast Cerebrus and cast Cure 3 to restore back lost HP after the
BOSS has unleashes it's Fallen Shone. This BOSS can be rather easily
if you have used Queztalcoatl with the G.F. Aid. Summoning G.F Eden
does over 9999 HP damage to the BOSS [40,000+ HP damage when Eden is
at level 70!] It has proven that you can do more than 9999 HP damage.
The BOSS will normally encounter the attacks with Laser Cannon [which
could never miss!]. The Left and Right Side could only does that if
they are separated. Junction Bolt 3 to every characters' attributes
attack. If your characters' strength stats are 255, they could inflicit
9999 damage with that junction! Recovery will be a better option in
regaining HP.

Restore all your HP and prepared for Disc 3 final-showdown. Enter the
building and you will find Seifer on the top of the pillar, bragging
about his ability. Elone is being held captive by those two groupies,
Fuujin and Raijin. After some talk, they will leave and you will fight
Seifer. Prepared for the last battle with Seifer.

why, because you can drawn the Aura spell and use it for yourself. Use
your finishing moves and give him a ticket to Planet Doom. ^_^; Or
make of this opportunity to stock up Aura...and wait for the Gilmagesh
to finish him off [provided that you have Odin]
By the way, use Leviathan's Recovery and restore lost HP. Use Phoenix
Down or Life to revive dead members. By the way, use G.Fs such as the
Grasharaboras as he pretty weak against it. Seifer's finishing move
does damage to all members.

If you have accquired Odin, you will see the last of him, being cut
into half by the "powerful" Seifer. There you will see the sword of
the Odin being thrown off and back to the hands of a mysterious G.F.
After you have defeated Seifer, G.F Gilmagesh will eventually appear
and defeat Seifer!

Well that's is the end of Seifer Almasy.... not really. After the
battle, Rinoa will start to move away.. Suddenly Seifer awakes and
kidnapped Rinoa! Seifer hold Rinoa as hostage and head for the chamber
where the unawaken Aderu is.... End of Disc 3. If Rinoa is not in your
party, Seifer will just instantly wake up and kidnapped Rinoa and you
will be able to re-organize your party.

Seifer will now be holding Rinoa as the gift for the evil queen, Aderu.
Rinoa tries her best in breaking off the grip from Seifer, but Seifer
just pushes her onto the ground. Now the future witch, Aderu suddenly
awakes and thus grab the helpless Rinoa... BOSS Fight!

This battle is quite an easy one. Adreu does not have high HP. Just
that she is quite cruel and crafty. She can drain HP from Rinoa [about
700+ HP each time.] She has a couple of strong spells such as the
Meteor. Do not use spells such as Ultima, Flare or Meteor as these
spells does damage not only to Altemisia and Rinoa too. So it's a good
reason not to use G.Fs. Rinoa's stats depends on how much HP that you
have accquired or you can just junction 100 spells to boast up her HP.
Also a good idea to junction elementals like Fire, so that Rinoa can
absorb Fire and damage Adreu when you summon the Ifrit at the same
time. So try to finish off Altemisia before she finishes off Rinoa! The
game will end if Rinoa was killed. Do not use Squall's Limit Break,
Have Irvine as his Wave Bullets could do 9999 HP damage to the BOSS
and only effect a single target. Thanks to for the
corrections.

After the battle, both Laguna and Elone will come to you and you will
have another sequence. Elone will drove away the spirit of Aderu and
thus bringing back her spirit. After a short chit chat, Laguna and
Elone will leave and you will have an FMV:

Time started to compress and thus forcing Squall and his party back
to time... Your party will start to fly in mid-air and just then they
will pass through the deep ocean. Next you will see a flock of birds
circling the tunnel of light and Squall will be brought back to time..
PS: You can't use any of those fake Save Points.
As you landed on ground, noticed that Rinoa has disappear! There you
will find a Save Point. Before approaching it, make sure that your
party are back to full health and touch the Save Point. Next a dozen
of them will appear. Now walk down the pathway to the door. Next the
screen will turn white and you find Edea [remember the time in Disc 1
when Rinoa meet Edea at the Presiden's Mansion.] Next you will find
Edea-like structures and split into two. It's BOSS fight between the
witch of different era. Now you need to fight about 11 of them before
you will fight the BOSS.

Well as you battles, you will proceed to the next place. The first
eleven of them are easy except for the Final Witch. The place will
change each time, you have defeated a witch. They are quite easy, I
actually risked my battles in order to find the stats by using the
Leviathan's Recovery and found the stats. Fortunately I managed to
defeat them by using Cerebrus and Meteor.

After eliminating all those disturbances, you will be transported to
an unkown place where you will meet the Final Witch. The Witch is
quite tough if your characters have very low HP. The BOSS has a
creepy touch which does 1,000+ which will bring low HP characters to
death easily. After you have injured the BOSS severely, it started to
have a countdown of 5, similar to the Jenova Sythesis last battle at
North Crater and it will cast Ultima on your members. Defeat the BOSS
and you will be back at Edea's house! Summon G.F Eden [hopepfully that
you have accquired "Aid" ability.

At Edea's House, head for the place where you have meet Edea [just walk
up and turn right and enter the door on the north]. There you will have
a sequence and you will have a short FMV of Altemisia Castle [the place
for the final showdown!]
Now the area will switch to a screen with two bodies of dead White SeeD
cadets. Next head up and make a turn at the stairs, hope that you have
remember the path during the childhood [it's has blocked off by those
strings!]. Next you will find more death bodies and a Draw Point
[Triple] there and you will need to head up that huge chain. There were
three doors on the left of the path. Press Circle to jump on the ledge
in front of the doors.

Just head for the Chocobo Shrine and get that free Chocobo. Now return
to the door where you have enter. Now walk down the shallow waters of
Esthar and head for the Sabontander Island. There you will find a huge
desert on the left of it. Well, the red dot is the Ragnarok. There you
will also find a door which leads to the right side of that huge chain.
The cities are now surrounded by barriers, except for the damaged
Missile base. Places such as the Cave of Fire, Sentora Ruins, Warship
Island and Chocobo Forests are not being surrounded by barriers.
Inside the Ragnarok as you go down to the elevator you will find a man
[CC Joker] whom will give you the following options:
1. Buy Items
2. Upgrade your Weapons.

myself as I am too lazy in playing that maddening Card Queen's Card

Group members [CC Group Heart and CC Group Diamond (the female cadet on
the left]. I have gotten the following cards from Sue: Ko-Chocobo and
DebuChocobo Card. I have also gotten G.F cards such as the Shiva,

ideal healer, plus her Angelo Cannon, packs a punch!

Irvine, in my own opinion, has the second most damaging attacks. [If
you get your hands on his most powerful bullets]. Quistis is another
great character with damaging special moves. She has great stats such
as the highest attacking power among all characters. Selphie is also
a great support healer for you can junction her magic strength to 255
points! Outstanding.

This BOSS isn't quite tough. Just attack as your other commands are
being sealed off. Here are strategy preparations before fighting the
BOSS, has healed your party to full health. To increase your attacking
power, junction magic to your attacks and you will do very devastating
attacks on the BOSS. If the BOSS summons monsters ignore them and
concentrates your attacks on the BOSS. Once you defeated the BOSS, I
would opted for the Magic Command, edges in combat as well as healing
lost HP. Weapons Upgrading also provide you the essentials to increase
your attacking power. You will see the mask broken if you have inflicit
sufficent damage on the BOSS.

After defeat the first BOSS, head right up the stairs. Walk down the
stairs and enter the door on the right. Before you enter, notice that
if you head the southwest and you will find a bell, shrunk it, you will
find the time on the top-left hand corner and have the other party head
for the organ as soon as possible [ASAP], you will find the Omega
Weapon, he is tough. [make sure you have unlock all the abilities]
Next enter the area. Walk down the stairs and you will find another
Green Spot and head up to the door located in the north. You will be at

A smart and a powerful enemy, with decent armor and damage. This is
what I myself will describe it as. It can create tiny troops [Young
Rob and it's unlimited stock] So it's pointless to fight against them.
Worst of all, if it is low on HP, it WILL drain HP from the Young Robs,
thus recharging their HP. A double spell and two Tornadoes/Ultimas at
time is great idea to battle against this BOSS. Just use Wind/Tornado
to create harvoc, not necessary pick G.F. as it's rather useless. Draw
is also not quite a wise choice as you see what spells you can find
from the BOSS. Now choose either Draw [if you do not have Demi] or G.F.
Pick Revive if you have enough Demi in your stock. If you killed more
than two Young Dolmens in a row, the Dolmen will uses its Cannon Blast.

Enter the door located in the north and you will another Green Spot and
you will find two stairways heading up to the other side. Now head down
to the basement. [just walk up]. You will find two doors, one of them
leads to the Armory Room, which can not be entered. Enter the open
door at the middle. You will find a corpse holding a key, press Circle
to examine it and you will fight another BOSS. [notice that there is a
handle there next to the open room? you need to head back here later]

Well this is prehaps the most defensive BOSS in this game. It's
high defensive attributes. Use Demi /Diablo on the BOSS and it will do
9999 HP damage to this cruel monster. By the way, this BOSS has very
high defensive attributes, reducing your attacking power to 1/10!
So it's a wise choice that you have made. Pick Revive dead characters
next as you may want to revive those dead characters. Once you have
does sufficient damage to the BOSS, it will threw away the sword...

SECOND PARTY
Okay, now it's time for the other team to do some business. Head for
the north door of the main hall, where you will find the first BOSS.
Next in the area, walk to the unstable chandelier [whole party] and you
will fall directly onto the banquet room. Examine the hatch and you
will be able to open it. Next walk down and you will find the 4th BOSS,
a flying monster.

This BOSS is quite tough for it has very killing moves. The Lightning
Strike does about 3000+ HP damage against all allies. The BOSS absorb
lightning. Use Fire-based attacks such as Fire 3 [does about 9000+ HP
damage to the BOSS] or Ifrit. Extremely easy if you have Lightining-
elemental defense. The BOSS will counter with Lightning Strike
everytime when your character attack it. Unlock G.F command as you can
make use of the most powerful G.F [Eden] on the next BOSS. The BOSS
WILL encounter your attacks with the Lightning Strike.

Now you have dealt with the BOSS, back to the top floor and head
through the mid-Garden [it has fountain in the middle and has a Draw
Point [Slow] in the top-left corner and a green spot in front of the
fountain.] You will find an organ [which you can messed with it, this
is also the place where you can fight the Omega Weapon]. Here are the
keys for the ORGAN. You can draw Despell from the Draw Point found at
the area.

Now head up the stairs on the right, there you will find the key which

MAIN PARTY
Now controlling the other party, head back to the basement and you will
find a shiny item on the southeast corner of the screen, examine it and
take the key [Key to the Armory]. Next enter the room and you will
fought spooky monsters with no bodies [found at Avadon's Hideout] and
the 5th BOSS of the section.

The first three parts are quite easy. Defeat using Holy-based attacks
[Alexandar, a wise choice]. Attack them until they are defeated. Now
the BOSS will appear, it's rather tough. The Eyes Beam, not only causes
1000+ HP damage and cause the Darkness and Slow status. The BOSS will
counterattack your attack with the Counter grab. Use Heal to restore
lost HP, now it's essential is to unlock Special Moves as the BOSS' HP
are increasing more as you fight on. There is a special technique where
(Status Stare) the Galganture will use and it causes random status
ailments.

After defeating the BOSS, head for the Green Spot outside the basement.
Switch to the second party.
SECOND PARTY
Head for the main hall. Go up the stairs and enter the room located on
the left. Now walk down the light-side corridor [there is a room here
on the left] which should be heading northeast direction. Walk to the
door. There are two elevators at this screen which will only operate if
you have examine all the paintings. Enter the elevator on the left,
and use the Green Spot to switch over. Now for the other party...
MAIN PARTY
NOTE: There is a hidden Draw Point [Ultima before you head upstairs
after defeating the BOSS.]
Head up the stairs on the left and enter the opening door on the left.
Now walk across the path, there is a Magic Stone [Cure 2] and a Save
Point. Now head across and you will reach the screen with the two
elevators, now enter it and switch to the other party. The other party
will go to the other ledge.
NOTE: The elevator would not operate if you does not examine all
paintings.
SECOND PARTY
Now examine the room and you will find a Draw Point plus a key. This
essential for the next party. Take the key and head back to the Green
Spot and switch to Squall's Party.
MAIN PARTY
Now head back to the basement where you fight the two BOSS and examine
the handle next to the opening to that tough defending BOSS. Activate
it. Now the water will be drained. Now head for the Fountain [north
from the banquet room]. Check there and you will find the key near
the fountain. Next head back to the banquet room and use the Green
Spot on the left [this will prevent the chandelier from falling].
Switch to the other party.
SECOND PARTY
Now head south and back to the light-side corridor. Examine the door
on the left and use it. Next you will find four coffins. Here is a
diagram. You can draw Holy from the Draw Point found near the coffins.

damage]. Now you have only two commands haven't uncovered. Just use

the Cyber Shot. The Cyber Frost does a whole lot of damage [3000+]
so take note. The BOSS will summon Ultima before it's death....

Now head for the room where you find the organ. Now up the stairs on
the right. Cross the wooden bridge. The ladder takes to the lower
section of the clock tower. Now walk up the winding path [it's a
long way..] Now you will find a huge bell swing from right to left.
Now head and position yourself near the edge. Wait for the bell to
come and press Circle. Now your party will be taken to the hole..
Next you will find the toughest BOSS among eight BOSSES in the
castle. It looks like a Bahamut...

A very offensive BOSS. This guy can does an outstanding damage of
8000+ to all allies with his Dark Flare. Here is some essentials you
need to get before the fight:
1. Recovery equiped and G.Fs command sealed off.
2. Alexandar's Sonsei.
3. All character's HP must be ABOVE 8000+ [junction Magic to your
HP, refer to G.F section for more details.]
Well, if you have the requirements, it's time for the battle. Firstlty
cast Cerebrus on your party. Cast Regen to all members. Next cast Aura
on Squall and use his special techniques. Has Squall do the attacking,
Recovery on one character and some Heal 3 to restore lost HP when the
BOSS uses Dark Flare [the BOSS will fly higher and there you will see
a name in the box above]. Have a couple of Raise to revive death
characters. To reduce damage by half, cast Barrier to your party or the
Mighty Guard.

NOTE: There is a hidden Draw Point [Triple] after the battle.
Now do you know that all your commands has been unsealed. Now head
back to the other side through the bell and up to the doorway. There
you will find the last Draw Point [Stop], exit from the area. Now walk
left through the hands of the clock and climb down the ladder. Next
walk right and climb down the ladder. Now head north. There you will
find the last Save Point and the door leads to the place where the
witch Altemisia is.. Make your necessary preparations before the
battles, make sure everyone's HP is at their maximum. Or might as well
use a Tent. Now examine the door and pick the first option.

6.3 T H E L A S T F I G H T

NOTES: The final battle will comprise of ALL characters. Defeated
characters will be taken away by a spell and a new character
will replace him/her. So conserve the good all members,
especially Squall [highest attacking power, plus the powerful
R1 trigger]. The character is being picked at random, changes
each time you play. Sorry for the misleading information, in
fact this has been tested by Ciovo as he has start the battle
with Quistis, Rinoa and Irvine! Squall is not necessary to
start the battle!
There you will meet Altemisia [similar to evil Edea...] Next you will
have a short conversation and you will have to battle against the
final BOSS!

ALTEMISIA
She is quite easy if you have accquired all the skills and have
Squall's Lionheart. Just simply cast Aura for a quick victory. OR Cast
Cerebrus and Ultima thrice! Cast Regen too as the battles are
CONTINOUS.
GIVERA
The situation started to changes. Givera is a tough one [not as tough
as the Omega Weapon or the Ultimate Weapon]. This guy not only have
killer moves but also Tornado and Meteor. Use G.Fs except for Brothers/
Grasharaboras/Diablo. The BOSS could cast Demi which will decrease
character's HP greatly. The BOSS could also cause Poison/Darkness/
Blind/Sadness with a single attack. Use Remedy or Cure to counter this
attack. I actually missed out a move. After you have defeated Givera,
the BOSS will use Shockwave Phaser on your party [make sure that your
character's HP is maintain around 6000+ as that move could does damage
about 4000+]
ALTEMISIA-GIVERA
This is another tough battle. The BOSS could cast Meteor [2000+ to
each character] and Tornado [3000+ to each character]. The BOSS could
also take away spells from your character. Bash it up with G.Fs. [
except Carbunkle]. Cast Ulima thrice is also a useful move. The BOSS
occasionally will summon tiny platelets [Level: 42, HP: 9000+] to
attack your party. You can draw Cure from them to restore the status
disorder.] Use Squall's R1 trigger to inflicit more damage on the
BOSS [need to do three times if Squall's attacking power is 5000+]
The BOSS could also cast Holy on your characters. You need to fight
this two times.
FINAL ALTEMISIA
The most dangerous move, Hell Judgement which will reduce every
characters [those in battles] to only 1. Counter with Heal 3 or the
Leviathan's Recovery Command. It could also does a couple of deathly
moves such as the Magic Drain, which will remove the entire lot of
Magic (1 kind). The BOSS occasionally will use Flare on a member
[3000+]. Again, use Squall's finishing move to dealt out damage, about
4 times if Squall's attacking power is 5000+]. So for these battles you
require a chunk of Aura spells. The Hell Judgement CAN'T KILL your
characters! If ALL your members' level is at 100, you will be able to
draw Flare from the BOSS.
NOTE: Defeated characters CAN be revive with Life /Raise / Sosei /
Phoenix Down. But the BOSS could take away defeated characters
with the Angel move. Another character will come...

After defeating Altemisia, Squall was been diverted from his party.
Irvine thinks that the battle is over and thus meeting the rest, lost
in time... Rinoa could not find Squall and was lost in time. Next the
screen changes from white to black, leaving Squall alone from the
rest. Squall keep on calling for his teamates, especially for Rinoa..
Next he will be brought to Edea's house where he meet young Squall
and Edea. Suddenly, Altemisia appears and you will have the sequence
on how Altemisia has transfered herself in Edea's body and mind and
of course how she die. Squall will then tell Edea about a military
academy called SeeD which will inspired Edea and her husband Cid to
form a school for those whom want to join SeeD called Garden and
followed by this FMV:

Squall was walking past a deserted island, feeling depressed as he
can't find his love... Depression in his heart. Now the screen
switches to Rinoa whom is running to search for Squall and was lost
too. Examining her pendant, wishing Squall is all right. Now Squall
will started to have illusions about Rinoa at the graduation ball
and the President's mansion, Rinoa keeping on disappear from Squall's

Well, this is the MOST toughest BOSS of all Bosses in the game. Fancy
doing a damage of 9998 with it's Omega beam. The nightmare of FFV is
back on the game. Refer to Part II for more details.

Omega Weapon... Squall's and his party's worst nightmare. The most
toughest BOSS on FF8. The Torture Beam does an unbelievable of 9998 HP
to all members and the Omega Strike does a killing move to one
character. The BOSS has also a deadly spell that would kill all
members with a single move. The BOSS has a swipe that does 3000+ to
one member and the powerful meteor spell. The BOSS ocasionally will
unleash the Omega Beam that does 9999 HP damage to your character
WHY USE A HERO DRINK?
The Hero Drink could causes the Omega to miss its attacks on your
characters as it does 0 damage. The downside is that you can't use
magic on your characters as they are invisible! You have to wait for
the Hero Drink to wear off. For all strategies, put the Hero Drinks in
the front page of your inventory!
1ST METHOD contributed by ChaRle5!
Deadly huh? Firstly you have accquired a ton of Hero Medicine [changing
Laguna's card which is obtained by defeating Elone during your space
jounery] 2 of them can be obtained by defeating Edea [end of Disc 2]
and Seifer [end of Disc 3]. Use this constantly and it will make the
character semi-invisible and then use Squall's R1 trigger to attack
the BOSS. Have others doing the healing!
2nd METHOD contributed by Franksiskus Febrainto
There is something to take note. You must cast Aura before you used the
Hero Medicine or you can't cast Aura. Junction 100 Death Spells for
every character [protects against Death-All]. After casting Aura on
Squall, use a Hero Drink and have Squall unleashes the End of Heart.
3RD METHOD [I have finally come up with this method and it really
works!]
This is what I have used to defeat the Omega. First of all make sure
you have acquired the following. Have Squall, Irvine and Zell in your
party. Equip them with their best weapons [refer to part II on getting
the materials for it]. If not get the characters with the highest level
for this battle.
1. Equip Sakigeke for all characters [Pandemonium, Tonberi, Sabotander]
2. 50x Wave Bullets
3. Junction magic to the character's HP to 9999 [or equip "HP +80%"
from the Carbunkle, Diablo and Brothers]
5. Equip Auto Haste on Squall and have about 40x Aura spells in
Squall's inventory. About 20x Aura on Zell's inventory
6. Junction 100x Death to everyone's status defense [Grasharaboras,
Siren, Alexander] if their levels are multiple of five.
7. Equip ITEM for everyone's last command.
8. Have about 10x Hero Drink [more, if your character are at higher
levels] If you does not have enough, change Laguna's Card and get
100x of it].
9. Equip Dexrity +40% on Irvine [as he is the most well-rounded
character].
10. Do not junction Holy to your attributes attack. Instead for those
characters whom does not have Death spell, Holy works well for
status defense against Instant Death
METHOD:
As soon as you can get into battle, has Squall cast Aura on himself,
Irvine uses a Hero Drink on Zell, Zell uses a Hero Drink on Squall.
Have Squall uses his special moves [hopefully you can get "End of
Heart", you need to do this about 3 times to finish off the Omega].
When you have reaches Irvine's turn, use a Hero Drink. Have the other
character attack the BOSS with the ATTACK command. Note that you can
use Aura when your characters are invisible. Have Squall keep on using
his desperation moves and you will be able to finish the Omega in no
time. If the Hero Drink wears off before any other character, have
that character summon a G.F [the G.F will recieved the hit, it is
advisible to stock Life Magic for all characters. If any mishap has
happened to Squall, focus all on Irvine and Zell [their deseperation
moves packs a punch too!] Still not enought, refer to the Strategies
section of Part II.

Once you have enable the code, press L1 + L2 + R1 + R2 together once
you are in the game (it doesn't seem to matter which CD you use), the
screen will fade and debug mode will begin. Be warned it's *very*
buggy. If you have a good command of Japanese, you'll be able to work
out what the submenus all mean, but even so, it seems that the mode was
written for the programmers to test stuff they found important and so
only they will know what everthing does! :)
